Sunflower Firelight

This artwork began with bright, fiery strokes created while painting beside my 6‑year‑old grandson — a moment of play, colour, and shared creativity. The next day, I felt compelled to paint a sunflower rising through that fire, symbolising warmth, resilience, and the beauty that grows from unexpected beginnings.

Rich oranges, golds, and reds dance beneath the bold sunflower bloom, creating a lively, textured composition perfect for lovers of expressive florals, shabby chic charm, and meaningful art.
