2026 has been a year of discovery and playing as I learnt that collections or themes are important. But that didn't stop me just painting whatever I felt like full of bright colour as you can see in Lorikeet and Aussie Gum Blossoms.

My Mixed Media Shabby Chic Collection is a tender celebration of memory, beauty, and the quiet joys that shape a life. Creating these pieces brought deep joy to my heart, especially as I wove in pages from my grandmother’s vintage music — a tribute to her love of the piano and her garden overflowing with flowers. Each artwork carries a whisper of her legacy, blending soft textures, gentle colours, and time‑worn elements that evoke the sweetness of days gone by. This collection is crafted for the heart that longs to remember, to cherish, and to hold close the beauty of treasured moments.

These floral paintings were created during a season when my energy was at its lowest, yet something in me still longed to make beauty. Working at a scale larger than anything I had attempted before, I found myself gently layering colour, light, and movement until these blooms emerged—soft, luminous, and full of quiet resilience. Each brushstroke became a small act of hope, and together they formed artworks that feel both tender and triumphant. They stand as a reminder that even in our most depleted moments, creativity can still rise and offer us something life‑giving.
